Eligibility

CLA Requirementssample

The CLA Operations Manual outlines the eligibility requirements for players to participate on its National Teams.

1. To be eligible to represent Canada on a national team under the governance of the CLA an athlete must meet the requirements of the appropriate international federation and hold a valid Canadian passport or landed immigrant status.

 

2. To be eligible for a national team under the governance of the CLA an athlete must be registered with a Provincial Member Association (PMA) of the CLA.

 

FIL Women's Eligibility Criteria

Ref: FIL Women's Sector World Event Bylaws (Criteria - Updated Oct-01-2010)

2.3.1 To be eligible to play in a FIL world event, a player must have reached the age of 15 as of the day prior to the start of the event.

 

2.3.2 For FIL Under 19 world events only, players  must be 18 years of age or younger on 31 August in the year prior to the Championship.

 

The Next U19 World Championship will be held in 2015.

Eligible players will be those born on or after September 1, 1995.
