Eligibility
CLA Requirements
The CLA Operations Manual outlines the eligibility requirements for players to
participate on its National Teams.

1. To be eligible to represent Canada on a national team under the governance of the CLA an athlete must meet the requirements of the appropriate international federation and hold a valid Canadian passport or landed immigrant status.
2. To be eligible for a national team under the governance of the CLA an athlete must be registered with a Provincial Member Association (PMA) of the CLA.
FIL Requirements
1. In accordance with the current International policy, "to be eligible for a World U19 Event, competitors must be under 19 years of age as of August 31 in the year prior to the event." For the 2011 event, players must be 18 or under on August 31, 2010.
2. There are currently no World Cup (Senior) eligibility requirements at this time.
